I was first hospitalized at three months old with

I was first hospitalized at three months old with an overdose of vitamin A that caused bone form in my joints, specifically my knees. I’ve had over 20 operations on my legs before I turned 18. I have one leg shorter than the other and can’t be on my feet for very long but I’ve never let it stop me from living life to the fullest. I’ve written about my journey in my memoir, Life in Captivity, and hope to speak about it to others. I found this going through my fathers stuff. This is the book that my mother read when I was an infant and inspired her to give me massive doses of vitamin A to heal me freon the flu I had.
